POLL: Is this blog TOO superficial?

A question I've been told by some and even told myself. Curious to know!

No, it's not TOO superficial. It's just that since you now have a platform to get attention from people around the world, how about having more to write about? What's the stories behind each photo? Maybe share some past lessons learned in your quest for Ms. Right. How about topics other white men seeking black women could respond too.

Absolutely not!!! I wish there were more blogs out there celebrating the beauty of Black women around the world. I visit when I have a "low self esteem day" and it always make me feel better!

it sort of IS very superficial- but that's just fine by me! I'm not visiting this blog to debate the underlying reasons why black women are beautiful, or not, or even what beauty is etc, but just to come appreciate the variety of black aesthetics...in a positive, albeit somewhat superficial manner! Although, as a "black" African, I just think people of African descent have to show each other more love - I have too many African friends who have hate for other Africans or black people coming from outside of Africa and it's ultimately, like all hatred, self-defeating!

I think people who say this blog is superficial are silly. It's about a guy who is admiring the women who are beautiful to him, which is the most common and the most natural thing on God's Green Earth. So in the case of this guy these women just happened to all be some shade of black or brown. And? So what? Where's the problem?

Please explain it to me, because I just don't see it.

No, I don't think it's too superficial either, although I just stumbled upon it last night. That makes me a novice and probably not hip enuff to comment. However, it's so important that men and women discuss difficult topics and it thrills me to meet other people who are unafraid to do so, especially from outside of the USA. I also wish there were more blogs out there about sistas and settling all of the insane commotion about beauty, skin tone, hair, race, standards [?]and it helps to hear from all kinds of people. I live in a rural place and long to talk, email just to stave off cabin fever and Hawaii may be paradise, but no black folks live here. Aloha and much love to y'all.
