NEW BOOK: A Black Girls Guide to Dating White Men

A brand new book is coming out soon. It's called "A Black Girls Guide to Dating White Men" by Niki McElroy.

"I think many women limit themselves to dating only within their race. I believe we should be opened minded to all races. In dealing with white men, I've found my self thinking "either this guy isn't into black girls or he's assuming I don't have interest in white men. From reading Niki's book, I've realized sometimes its neither and just maybe we could all use a little help. I believe Niki's book delivers that help in a hilariously honest way"
Review by actress Meagan Good

Yes there is a Black Sweden! :)

Since I keep getting a lot of questions from you out there about if there are any black people in countries like Sweden. My answer is Yes! :) Here is a recent update i found:
Population facts
Sweden's total population: 9.4 million inhabitants.
No official record of the total population of Afro-Swedes exists, since official population records only include people's country of birth, not their ethnicity. A report from the Equality Ombudsman in 2007 ("Att färgas av Sverige") concluded that the total population of Afro-Swedes is more than 100 000. A likely figure is probably in the range of 130 000 - 150 000.

International Year for People of African Descent

Year 2011 is the "International Year for People of African Descent". I think that is a good (small) step by UN to recognise the role of people of African decent.

READ MORE: http://www.un.org/en/events/iypad2011
“The International Year must become a milestone in the on-going campaign to advance the rights of people of African descent. It deserves to be accompanied by activities that fire the imagination, enhance our understanding of the situation of people of African descent and are a catalyst for real and positive change in the daily lives of the millions of Afro-descendants around the world.”
-Navi Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

Psychology Today: Stop Publishing Racist & Sexist Articles - Sign the Petition!

Please sign the petition against the article entitled "Why Are Black Women Less Physically Attractive Than Other Women?", it takes less than 60 seconds!

Quoting from Change.org
In an attempt to defend previous publications, Kanazawa wrote, “If what I say is wrong (because it is illogical or lacks credible scientific evidence), then it is my problem. If what I say offends you, it is your problem.”
Well, as Khadijah Britton of Scientific American put it, “Satoshi Kanazawa has a problem.” So does Psychology Today.
