Miss Ghana Germany 2008

Just a big-up to the true beauty contest - "Miss Ghana Germany". The beauty of the Ghana ladies in Germany! More of those in every single country... world-wide... imagine Miss Ghana Sweden, Miss Ghana Italy, Miss Nigeria Norway, Miss Uganda Denmark, Miss Congo Holland... could continue all day... lol

Anyway. I think it's just love to give props to the real beauty - the black woman!

Miss Ghana Germany 2008 was Ms. Amy Ceder from Stuttgart!
Just listen to her motivation:
"Because I'm proud of my Ghanian heritage and think this pageant is an excellent way to promote a positive image and awareness of the african culture through the beauty and intelligence of their women. Futhermore it's very important to provide young black girls with beautiful, strong and most importantly intelligent black role models, who they can look up to and identify themselves with." AMEN! ;)

Or I can simply say as one of the other contestants, Ruby Commey, said:
"...because Ghana has the beautiful girls"

Sub-Sahara

A friend of mine just put my taste very well - she said "your taste with black women are very 'sub-Saharian'". And I must agree, the women South of Sahara are very very beautiful when it comes to african women! :) Do I sound superficial or superficial?! :D

It's a pity

I don't care if some people think the total opposite - I think Tanya Stephens is a true beauty! :) Big-up to you! "It's a pity" - One of the most vibeful songs ever!

The Colors of Africa

I just gotta say I love the colors of Africa - mostly known as red, yellow and green! :) I just can't resist that combination of colors! :)

Yes, one pic of me!

Reminisce the Beauty: Cleopatra

I was just thinking, where did the three sisters of Cleopatra go? Long time, no see from Cleo, Yonah & Zainam Higgins. One Hit Wonder in 1998? Or will they return again?! At least I had a secret crush on all three of them back in late 90's... :)

Lovely ad

Just an Ad I love. Or maybe I should say loved, cuase the swedish mobile phone company Neonode has now gone bankrupt and does not exist in the same way anymore. But still I love their ad for the N2-phone! Big-up for the beauty of Ads!

Be proud. Be Natural.

Something that been goin' on in my mind for many years now: Why do so many african/black women use and add "fake" hair? To me that is totally non-understandable. I mean the african woman has got the most beautiful natural hair anyone can get on the earth. So why add this "fake hair" trying to get the more straight hair, like the white woman's?

So I'm sayin: Be proud of your Natural Style! :)

Whatever happened to Malou?

I wonder whatever happened to Malou Hansson - she became "Miss Sweden" year 2002. Long time no see. But I guess she's hanging around the brats in East Stockholm nowadays. Any how, I thought it was so amazing, back in 2002, that Malou became the first "dark-skinned" Miss Sweden!
