This topic was necassary for me. On a personal level I think its important that my friends know were I stand. Of course you can have questions about the content in the video I got from my friend. But Im trying to look at it in a funny way.
I agree with simplybeautiful. this wasnt necessary. You dont have to prove anything to your friends. They better respect you for who you are and also respect your choice in women. You know why we as women cant look at this video in a funny way, we as women are more than our ass. And this video only show blackwomen as asshaking persons. You are a man and this appeal to you, but we women want to be seen as humanbeing and not only as sexual fantasies. You been saying this blog is about uplifting and love keep it like that. It will be more interesting if you share your thoughts about loving a black woman. What do you think a white man who love black woman should do to approach a black woman? I want to know if you can give advice to the others whiteboys about approaching, respecting, dating a black woman. It would be nice to hear from the others boys what their experiences are with dating a black woman. That would be funny to see over here.

I am a Haitian-American woman,who loves your blog. I decided to comment in order to support you. I think that women often forget, how visual men are. Males and females are differnt in many ways. I actually liked the video, because I am always amazed at the beauty of black women & how under-appreciated that beauty is. Our bodies are amazing, maybe this is because I am an artist so I have a progressive view regarding the human body. What we as African decended women can do with our bodies, as far as movement is concerned is amazing, beautiful, erotic, & sensual. Andreas is a man who is sexually, mentally, spiritually, & culturally attracted to BW. I feel that this video celebrates our sexual/sensual/erotic power as women. He gets an A+++ for all the positivity he has contributed to in celebrating Black Women. As long as this doesn't become a habit, I don't think its so bad. We have great assests and many women the world over envy us, many having procedures done to look like us! Why not celebrate all of our magnificience, even the visual erotic/sexual aspect of our femininity. To me it is quite powerful, if we choose to look at it that way. Any normal man would find this enjoyable & may want to share it! Lets embrace erotic black female sensuality and claim our power & beauty now. Andreas, please don't make it a habit! LOL!
^^^ITA La Haitienne, Andreas has been nothing but respectful for as long as I have been here. I believe that he is sincere and that our bodies as BW should be celebrated as beautiful. In a society where non-BW are praised for the attributes that we have: Angelina Jolie- Full lips, Kim Kardasian-- large round bottom, etc., it is good to see that sometimes. If that were all he had on his site, then I would give him the side eye, but that is not the case here.
I do think the video could have been done without, but I see Andreas' point. I don't believe he meant any harm in it. I've been following him on this blog from day 1, and I couldn't picture him doing so out of a spirit of degradation. And now he knows for next time ;)
