As some of us knows, The World Cup in soccer/football has started in South Africa. And I gotta send a big-up to Matthew Booth in the South african team and his beautiful wife Sonia Bonneventia, former Miss South Africa. And when you look at it in an historic perspective - with the racist apartheid system in South Africa, I think this is a beautiful couple. He from the white upper class in Cape Town and she from the slum of Soweto, Johannesburg.
And apparently there are very very few "famous" interracial relationships in South Africa, even today, 20 years after the fall of apartheid.
As a journalist said "Matthew Booth and Sonia Bonneventia are like Romeo and Juliet, mixed with Disney's Lady and the Tramp"

I read about apartheid on Wiki. It was like the segregation here in US but way worse in some ways and I kept thinking what it must have been like to look at a black woman and cops coming at you saying that looking at black women is against the law or something like that. Hahah I'd be somewhere in between laughing in their faces and wanting to bust their teeth in. Richard Loving did good. It was a very ballsy thing to do in those days.

As a white American male, I have always loved the African American woman--her beautiful skin, shape of her body, the punch of her lips, and the warmth of her mind and spirit. She's the quintessential woman!! My friends and I have all dated African American women since high school and I will marry my college sweetheart (a lovely AA woman) in just two short weeks. Keep up the great work. You are keeping it real for us white men who love African American women.

I'm a South African myself and I have to agree that they're still very few inter-racial couples in SA. Big ups to Mathew and Sonia. I've seen their two boys too and oh my, what beautiful children they have!
