I agree with anon you should post more womenn flaunting their natural hair. This right there with the blonde stripes is not doing it for me. I like my woman natural.

"uugh more fro please, more natural."

I'll second that.

I rather like her hair...and this is coming from a chick who rocks a 'fro. I think we as black women can be beautiful rocking natural hair or not.

Hey if she wants to wear fake her that's her business. The woman is still beatiful. We have to stop getting hung up on hair.

so because she is not natural in her hair that makes her less beautiful? the hair is not what makes the woman beautiful . there are many more elements that make a woman beautiful the hair is just an adornment to the total package. whether natural, weaves or permed. :-)

I get the feeling this critique is coming from a bunch of AA women who have been frying their hair in many different ways for decades now. Braids with extensions IS a natural hair style. And women change/highlight the color of their hair all the time - so what that this lady has some highlights in her hair?! How ridiculous to decide that highlights and extensions make this woman not beautiful. All this does is try to paint women of African ancestry into an ever-narrowing box. It's hair, people! Each woman gets to choose how she wants to wear hers. Sorry, but you're not going to use hair to put me into a new so-called "gilded" cage.
