I think you'd enjoy this video of the song, "I Am the Black Gold of the Sun," from the Rotary Connection (the group the late, great Minnie Riperton performed with before she went solo).

The images are fantastic as well (collage of stuff from the '60s and '70s); Minnie sings background on this song, but it's a wonderful song anyway.
