Three is the magic number
Is this really true?! I can't believe my eyes, ears, mouth...whatever!!! Here in Sweden we have, like in most places, a jazz festival every year - Stockholm Jazz Festival. And this summer's festival gonna be craaazy. They just released the artists. Listen to this: Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and my personal favorite Leela James. Ooooh my... three very very talented and very very beautiful soul queens, right here! And this is my standpoint: Leela James gotta be one of the most beautiful women I ever seen!
Is it just an accident or fate that made this: All three has almost the same lovely and the most gorgeous hair!!!
One race.
Is Interracial really a good word? I mean people tend categorize humans into diffrent races. And that is false. There is not several races in the human nature - there's only one and that is - the human race. That's why it is a bit strange to use words like "interracial". But I guess the meaning of the word is necessary to state what we are talking about. And still the "interracial" thing is a very beautiful thing.

Born in the wrong country
I miss NYC and the States too much. I know everyone I was travelling with just wanted to go home. Not me! I mean, why go back to boring cold Sweden when you are in the vibeful NYC surrounded by beautiful black women everywhere?
I bet I was born in the wrong country. My friend told me that, when we where in the Caribbean. "Andreas, this is where you belong. This is where you should be. The most beautiful women for you are here." I know he's right. The Caribbean and/or the U.S. thats where I was supposed to be born... :)
Anyhow, I really miss the beautiful vibeful New York.
When you talk about it...

Big-up 2: Jill Scott
There are many TV shows that we dont have here in Sweden (and Europe), or if we are lucky they start broadcasting them months later. I finally came around this show called "The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency". You all probably already heard about it. Beautiful picture and vibe. And starring the LOVELY Jill Scott. I adore her. So talented and so very beautiful! I love her way of picturing Mma Ramotswe - that african vibe! :)
New York, New York...
New York, New York. I love New York.
I'm back from NYC now - and what a city - first the sun was shining a lot. And "Mama mia"... so many beautiful black women everywhere! :) Time was ticking too fast, my cellphone got weird, didnt had time to meet everyone I wanted, but whoa, what a city! Being back in Sweden make me realize there are no the same vibe here. The beautiful mix of NYC is gone here in up-north if Europe. But I'm allready thinkin of NYC.
I'll get back more soon - so tired of the "jetlag".
PS: 2 pics of me in NYC! :)

In NYC...
More and more Miss Africa
This is a good sign - it seems to pop up more and more "Miss Africa" in more and more diffrent countries. I would guess most of the European countries has their own "Miss Africa". And there are even undergroups like "Miss Ghana Germany". I think this is a very positive development!

A short story...
I've come to the conclusion and the grim reality about something. I'm not quite sure, but this is my experience. I've been to the Caribbean and the States and I get the feeling most black women either don't believe me or take me serious when I say the black woman is the defintion of true beauty. Last year I meet this police woman on an island in the Caribbean. To make the story short - she thought she knew what kind of women two white guys from Europe prefered. When I told her later that night about my preferences when it comes to women - she was almost in some sort of shock. She was pretty sure I was making a joke. But after I told here more, I could see she tried to understand the fact I was telling her. I still remember her answer: "I didnt even know there were white guys that liked black women at all..." I've felt this same feeling all over the world from time to time. I sometimes get the look like women at thinking "there's a drawback to your act". How come?
A balanced picture - Miss Africa Sweden
Last years winner of Miss Africa Sweden 2008 was the Togo-born Matilda Dagba. I think Miss Africa Sweden is a very good and positive concept. It's not the typical beauty contest - it's a focus on goodwill. Miss Africa Sweden is more of up-lifting the positive news from Africa to give a balanced picture, instead of the so often negative image in the media. I like that idea. And I'm already looking forward to this year's contest!

I love my "taste"
I keep hearing this over and over from friends - "Your taste of women sucks". Just gonna make this clear first: Im very proud of my taste of women. I love what I love. But it's still interesting that some friends keeps dissing my taste. Taste is something very very subject. And I think they should be happy I got a little "diffrent" taste than the common white western european guy has. And to be honest, I very pleased with my taste and I think I'm blessed from above, getting this GOOD taste!
Maybe my taste sucks, but who cares? NOT ME!
But I'm curious, do you all out here think my taste sucks (you got some photos in my blog to refer to). Holla at this white b'woy!
